Talking About Death
There's a special kind of magic that happens when people start talking about death; they remember all the awesome things about living. I'm honoured that my days are spent listening to people's fears, worries, hopes and dreams. But most of all I'm blessed to spend time listening to the stories of the living they've done and wish to do into the future.
Planning for death doesn't need to be macabre. It doesn't need to be frightening. And it most certainly doesn't need to be hidden. I passionately believe it's in the hiding that the fear and shame festers.
I'm on a mission to increase literacy around death, starting right here with stories and ideas. If you're not quite ready to sit down and talk about death with a person, this is a good starting point. If you'd like to add your own story to the collection, I'd love to hear from you.
