I Don't Do Estate Disputes
Most lawyers love disputes where dead people no longer have a voice and rely on legal representatives to argue on their behalf. Not me!
Using a unique combination of legal experience, compassion and conversation some of the things I can help you do during an estate coaching session include:
Interpret any legal documents you have access to and translate them into plain English-
Help you understand the legalities of the estate as it stands and the impacts that will have on your family

Work with you to navigate any emotional or legal roadblocks that are creating conflict or confusion

Establish the intent of the will-maker and ascertain who the beneficiaries of the estate are or should be

Suggest changes or ways you can facilitate an existing will that will ensure the best possible outcome for everyone

Provide estate planning tools and resources
Estate coaching includes an initial phone conversation + 2 hours together at your home (or a neutral space you feel comfortable).
In our time together we will talk about anything to do with death and estate planning that's on your mind.
I'll then marry our conversation with legal advice, strategies, and suggestions for how to progress further conversations with your family or loved one and actions you can take moving forward.
This service can also be used to pressure test (aka 'death test') any big decisions in your life so you can jump in boots and all knowing what it will look like if you die or become incapacitated.
Fees start at $2,200 (inc gst)
